An animation created by SENS (The Social Economy Network of Serbia) explains the importance of social entrepreneurship as a new means of tackling growing social inequalities.
Social enterprises are different from most private businesses in that they use their profits to realise social goals, rather than increasing the wealth of owners or shareholders. These goals include job creation, social inclusion, cultural needs and health care.
